Nothing to report.

No news this week. There is nothing at all, of any interest, to report. I've sat here for 10 minutes thinking that I have to type something, but no, the blog plumbs new depths as I have nothing to offer today but drivel that's even more inane, if it's possible, than the usual smattering of letters and words beaten out on my increasingly worn keyboard. So, what can I say? A week of school has passed and the Year 9 Parent-Teacher evening happened. There has been some weather. Some sunshine, some rain. A bit of cloud. All in various combinations and at different times of the day and night.

The school rugby season comes to an end next weekend, which means Spring is not far away. I'm intending to take surfing lessons when it warms up a bit (probably in October), and am also looking to join a Touch Football (rugby) team for the summer season.

Next Friday Kit, Jen and I are hosting our housewarming party. It'll be a fairly low key affair as our neighbours are quite elderly - early evening cocktails followed by a trip to the pub. The nearest is the Belgian Beer Cafe (I'm not a huge fan), followed by 'The London' which is just up the road and is a more typical pub and always has a great atmosphere.

There are heavy storm clouds over the harbour this afternoon, making for a dramatic view. Otherwise it's a fairly undramatic weekend; my team were 'pumped' (I think that's the local expression) yesterday by Joeys, so I'm hoping for a much better end to the season in our final game next week.

Right, time for lunch. I hope I can offer something a little less soporific next week....

  1. Stop trying to pretend you're a Spurs fan. It doesn't become you.

Ponting has predicted 5-0 (to Australia) in the Ashes. Click on my name for the link.
