Coogee to Bondi... and back again

Today Kit and I drove to Coogee, which is the first time I've been to the ocean since the day I arrived. Whilst Kit walked the coastal path south, I ran north to Bondi and back, which is about 16km in total; this photo is me having just finished.

It's a beautiful route that meanders around the numerous bays and over the cliffs with some spectacular views.  I ran it (one-way) on a Sunday in September, with the Blues squad 13 years ago. It was about 18 degrees today and quite hot in the sun towards the end, but otherwise good for running. I wanted to see how I held up over that distance as I'm currently doing the 9km route at the Sydney Running Festival in two weeks, but am considering upgrading to the half marathon.
