Back to school

I know it's back to school for many today. My tutorial finishes at 9am BST this evening, so as I cross the ANZAC bridge on the bus ride home I shall spare a thought for all those of you sat listening to the 'start of term announcements' at Trinity, and also those of you who have left Trinity and will be starting somewhere new.

Last week I have started keeping a tally of the number of times the tutor for the Tuesday class says "a hundred percent" (8 - top score), "alrighty" (7), and "awesome" (6) so we'll see how he does this week.
It's currently 9.30am and I'm sat on a bench having a coffee by the Library lawn in the sunshine - it's already very warm - waiting to go to my 10am lecture. This weather is fairly unusual; there's talk of a late winter cold spell (i.e. it might drop below 15 degrees during the day), but it's only rained a couple of times since I've been here and the daily temperatures are creeping up so that may be it. I can feel hayfever coming on again, which is not fair as it was only 2 months since I last had it....
