Here are some photos from Saturday nights trip to the SCG for my first Aussie Rules match -Sydney Swans lost to Brisbane Lions 100-92. Although how lions could ever be beaten by swans I don't know. Maybe at swimming. Anyway, we had a free buffet and drinks before the game next door at the footie stadium (corporate hospitality courtesy of a friend of Kit's). AFL is a two hour extravaganza, so you get your monies worth - and it's good to see live to appreciate the size and scope of the game.... plus there's plenty of time to get to the bar a few times as well. The atmosphere was good and the last quarter was quite exciting, but I'd still rather go to an NRL or union game though....
