Christmas 2014

Christmas was once again celebrated in style at Castle Burke and, for the first time in several years, it was a hot and sunny one.

Kris Kringle this year involved each adult having a different theme, with a budge of $30 to spend on each other adult. Gillian had body products, Meg had food, Pete had books/dvds, Wayne had gadgets, Denise had garden and I had beverages.

In a controversial decision, all adult presents were opened on Christmas Eve when the children had gone to bed to make Christmas Day a little less frenetic and enabling the present opening to be more sedate and leisurely for the grown ups.

My sister Sam gave Baby Case this awesome t-shirt

After the present opening on Christmas morning, Pete cooked up a breakfast on the bbq

The 25 people for the Burke family Christmas on the 27th was the ideal opportunity to open an 8 litre bottle of shiraz, which Meg had won in a raffle.
