Fishing on the the Lane Cove River

This morning Wayne and I went out in his canoe on the Lane Cove River, launching a couple of minutes drive down the road, near Figtree Bridge. It was a fairly cool and overcast day, which was actually preferable given that we were out on the water. Although I ended up feeding the fish rather than catching them (they love prawns, but aren't so keen on those sharp metal hooky things), Wayne caught a decent sized Bream that Gill and I will have for dinner on the bbq this evening.
