A mysterious box appeared outside the house yesterday - in an unmarked box of what appeared to be "Moscato". Inside were 10 bottles of ale: London Pride, Tim Taylor, The Kentish beers from the Shepherd Neame brewery of Master Brew and Spitfire, and Adnam's Broadside from Suffolk.

All beers that, as it happens, one can find on tap in the pubs of Greenwich. No prizes then, for guessing who it was from. It was apparently due to have been delivered in April, but with the winter approaching and the colder wetter weather having arrived this week, now is an excellent time to enjoy some fabulous, real English beer..... I am, as they say in these parts, "stoked".
