Today I received a package containing this book in the post. I can't find a publishing date, but it must be least 60 years old as it lists the European power that have colonial possessions in India. It came with a San Francisco post mark. In the Introduction it says: "The best way to find out how much you know [sic] is to find out how much you don't know [sic]".  One thing I clearly didn't 'know' (kneurgh) was who sent it... Until I found a receipt, containing the name "Mr E Mann".....
