Advent

Last night Kit and I hosted an Advent Party - featuring West African curry with about a dozen side dishes (from crushed peanuts to mango),  a melon and sorbet dessert and a particularly good desert wine from the Hunter Valley.

Present were Ludo (who we've renamed "Late Night Ludo" given that his Dutch accent and deep voice would make him well suited to being a radio DJ), Polly, Aviva and Mathias. We also had some champagne to celebrate the occasion, Kit's iminent big trip to Europe, and my visa.
