Stop Press: part time job

So as I was having lunch this afternoon, which was, incidentally, a rather nice homemade salad....

When I received a phone call from the agency about a job in Pyrmont, which is between here and the city, just the other side of the Anzac Bridge. It's an after school care centre for 5 to 12 year olds where they do various activities. Or not. I went along, as it's the only casual job I've been offered; it's not exactly my cup of tea,  but it's fairly convenient location wise and it's not especially taxing - except of my patience. I was not built to deal with little ones. The centre is keen to get me back permanently, though I did tell them that my experience of this age group was limited to formal teaching of 10/12 year olds. It's 4 hours per day; the pay is pretty low, but it's all I've been offered so I have nothing better lined up. I'll go back tomorrow and see how it goes....
