Induction

This afternoon I had induction at my new school; obviously I can't go in to too much detail on the blog, but I was set-up with my own email access, given my timetable and class information for next term and looked at schemes of work - that sort of thing. I I really just want to get started to be honest and hope to get as much sorted before term starts in Februrary (!) as I can. There's a really positive atmosphere at the school and the staff seem really friendly and welcoming. It's in a great location too. I borrrowed a car and drove the 6km route today through the inner west suburbs in around 20-25 minutes; it's a far more pleasant drive than my old trek across south London (I do go past Croydon Street on the way...). I intend to run it when I can, and if in due course finances stretch to a bike, will cycle it too.

For now it's back to my last History essay, which is on the Chinese Communist Party and free market economics....
