Yesterday I went to a bbq at Coogee Beach on a hot, sunny Saturday - loads of food, champagne and beer. The water was lovely - calm and great for swimming. We had one of the wooden shelters on the grassy area nearby which meant I was able to avoid getting sunburnt.
Kit and I attacked the yard again - we have a huge eucalyptus tree, around 50ft in height, which dumps branches and leaves regularly, so it was a major undertaking clearing it up. I also attempted to clean the front of the house (windows, sills and front door) which had been sand blasted by the red sand storm we had a couple of months ago.
This evening Ludo came over and we had a 'bbq' - I say bbq but it was a bucket bbq which was pretty pathetic really. We've decided to invest in a proper gas bbq soon so we can do it properly.
Ludo 'cooks' the burgers on the bucket [value] bbq - after the sausages had put it out....
