Mid-semester break

Another coffee at Bertoni's, a leisurely stroll down to Balmain wharf in the warm sunshine and blue skies, the ferry across the harbour and then a short walk up to the State Library for the day, with lunch in the library cafe. Perhaps it's age, perhaps it's me being fundamentally dull, but what a lovely day. Discovered a new funky bar this evening in Rozelle, the neighbouring suburb, where I met a couple of Sian's friends for a drink and some food this evening. Early start tomorrow as I need to keep up my training... I've 'upgraded' my Sydney Running festival participation from the 9km Bridge Run to the Sydney Half Marathon which is in 10 days time, after the lack of pain I experienced after Sunday's 16km run. I have run 21 kilometres before. But never consecutively....
