Thanks for your votes on the blog. For all you fans of my trips to Bertoli's - just for you, here's a photo of me having a coffee on Darling Street at Bertoli's this afternoon. And, just to prove he does exist, there's a picture of Kit on the balcony, also taken today.

I've decided, in the spirit of modern media, which these days is audience-driven, to give you more of a say. This blog is, ostensibly, about what I do from day to day (I know it's about so much more than that), and what I do from day to day is written on the blog - but to do this properly you need to have a say in what I do. I've been working pretty hard every day, and apart from the first couple of days, I've not done anything especially interesting.
Soooo, next weekend I'm going to get out there and do something fun/exciting/a bit different. And you get to choose what it is. Well, sort of. Over the next couple of days, you can suggest an activity for me. I will then put up a poll from which everyone can vote to decide what it is. And there will be a prize for the person who comes up with the winning idea. So it needs to be something you think I would be prepared to do (ie I get to choose the shortlist), but also something which you think everyone else would like me to do (I might add one or two as well if I think I need a few more for everyone to choose from).
But I will do whatever wins the vote. So over to you....
"what I do from day to day is written on the blog". Surely this is a typo? What you do from day to day is write on this blog.
ReplyDeleteAnd what I want you to do, not necessarily this weekend, is to write an essay, as part of your course, on the significance of the baggy green in Australian culture.
