I have just had the feedback from my first essay of my Distance Learning course, which came out as "very good" overall, but I'm a bit narked that it isn't "outstanding". I fear I may have to 'dumb-down' the next one.
The weather is rubbish this morning. Excellent.
Am I the first to comment on your blog?! I have nothing to say other than to claim my prize.
ReplyDeleteYou'll be on your plane now, I believe. I hope they're showing good films and you don't have 20 hours of the likes of 'Marley & Me'! If you get bored you could always try to impress the air hostesses with press-ups in the aisle. :-)
ReplyDeleteActually you're spot on on both counts, Vix.
ReplyDeleteAs I was scrolling down through 'Wedding Daze' and '17 Again' as I passed over the Channel I thought that on reflection a mid-air disaster that saw the plane plummet from the sky would not have been quite such a disaster after all.
I did check the width of the aisles - press ups a definite option in Business Class, but not by my seat sadly.
Unfortunately Smiths was out of "A Bluffers Guide to Wit" so I'm sorry Paul, your prize will have to wait.
