Day Four

I'm officially now a student. I went in to uni today to get my student card and complete various enrollment procedures. UNSW is massive. Really massive. I mean that in terms of size, I've not regressed to using words like 'massive' and 'sick' as adjectives to mean 'fun' or 'incredible'. I had a tour of the Library (which has ten floors). Not only do you have to book computers (not a problem for me with my laptop) but you also need to book to use a study desk. Sick!

I don't think I'll be 'hanging out' at UNSW much - I'm actually doing undergraduate units so I don't get to use any of the post-grad facilities and I have no desire to hang out with 18/19 year olds. Still, the courses look good; lectures and tutorials start next week.

I have to take two buses to get there from my house - the journey is about 45 minutes, but it's a good one - across the Anzac Bridge which has great views of the city and the Harbour Bridge to the east.

  2. You are the third person to comment... I was beginning to wonder if anyone was actually reading this; although adding a comment doesn't require any of it to be read.
