Day Eight

My new bed finally arrived today, and it was a major project putting it together, but my room looks so much better as a result. I've been drafting letters to schools today, to try and get some cover work; I have Wednesdays free with no lectures or tutorials and half days on Thursdays and Fridays so fingers crossed. A retired couple who are friends of Kit came around for coffee and cake, which was good.

Kit took me on a tour of the best local pubs this evening; not that I can afford to frequent them, but it was good to get out.

It's now gone 11.30 and I'm absolutely shattered, so it's time for bed.
