Wedding Countdown

So far this month:
Get permanent residency:
   - a long and expensive process involving numerous medical tests and form filling.
Complete Graduate Diploma in Education:
   - the end of a 4 year journey; I submitted my final assignment on Sunday night!

To do:
Get married

Finally the school holiday is here and after a crazy few weeks of relentless work, Gill and I can look forward to the wedding fiesta over the next 10 days. The family have been arriving over the course of the last few days and are now off exploring various parts of NSW. The weather has been great; warm and mostly sunny and the forecast looks to be warm in the next few days (28-30 degrees and sunny), then for the wedding day hopefully around 23 degrees and sunny.

Here's a brief run down of the itinerary (Gill has a minute by minute plan for the next few days):

Today: finalise various arrangements and bookings, pack for honeymoon, meeting with the reception venue

Tomorrow (Wednesday): Andy, Gunno and Julie arrive in the morning. The afternoon is the Stag Do, featuring barefoot bowls and an evening 'activity'.

Thursday: Robert arrives, lunch with all and sundry in the city

Friday: get married

Saturday: brunch at a pub in The Rocks and then kick on

morning run around Iron Cove Bay

The traditional coffee and photo with Mum at Bertoni's, Balmain

Monday evening, with Mum and Wayne in Kings Langley
