Zoo, HMS Endeavour, Cockatoo Island and the 'Tahs

Some photos from our trip to Taronga Zoo on Wednesday:

On the way to Balmain we stopped at Cockatoo Island - the old shipbuilding and naval dockyard.

On Thursday evening we went for dinner at Banjo Paterson's Cottage Restaurant; home to the bush poet renowned for writing Waltzing Matilda, the Man from Snowy River and Clancy of the Overflow. The restaurant is by the water directly across from Abbotsford.

The NSW Waratahs win a lineout on the way to their 25-20 victory over the Waikato Chiefs on a chilly Friday night. 7 of us met up for a few beers before, during and, indeed, after the game at Allianz Stadium in Sydney.
