Well it's the end of the year. A crazy few weeks of report writing, meetings, end of term functions and all the various loose ends that need tying up before the clock ticks down to Zero. Hence the blog's been quiet this last fortnight. Any teachers reading this know what it's like - term finally ends and we all collapse in a heap. Prizegiving last night at the State Sports Centre was the last event of the year before our (seven (?) week holiday).
I'm flying to Brisbane in just over an hour to meet (or hopefully meet) Andrew. I say 'hopefully' as I've not spoken to him for about 2 months, so I'm kinda hoping that he'll be there, after his neuroscience conference in Noosa (Noosa... in the Sunshine Coast.... I mean, come on....).
Anyway, plenty more blogging to come both on the end of term and the upcoming six day road trip.
Time for me to pack, I think...
Hope that you (a) find Andy, and (b) have a great time. Shame on you for leaving Gill to fend for herself though...I hear the poor girl is having to make her own coffee! x
ReplyDeleteThanks Vix - successfully completed both, though (a) was harder than (b).
