Bikes!

Now we just need a "sheep or two and a kangaroo..... verandah out the front and an old rocking chair...."

With the arrival of spring weather last weekend, we went on a bike ride around the Bay Run - taking in Drummoyne, Haberfield, Ashfield and Rozelle. My bike is spanking new - I just haven't been able to ride it for 8 months as we had nowhere to store bikes in Mosman and had to have it mothballed in Gill's Nana's garage. Cadel Evans, winner of the Tour De France, is an Aussie, so obviously cycling is the new national sport (cricket? What's that?) with every man (though not his dog) out on two wheels in the inner-west on Sunday.

Callan Park Rehabilitation hospital is also in Rozelle.... 

 ... so given that I was passing by, it seemed silly not take advantage of their Detoxfication Service.
