The English summer arrived on Sunday - perfect timing!
In the morning, Gill, Sam, Tom and I went to picturesque Seale for cream teas, before the bbq at 'Ambleside'; we then headed down to the village green for some exercise. Gallery of photos below!
DCI could go into business with his BBQ skills. It was the stuff of which dreams are made of (sic). That doesn't mean the BBQ tasted of sick, by the way. Given past form I was worried he might throw the plate of slow-roasted vegetables in my face, but he was kind enough to serve them with style instead. Thank you for a wonderful day. Ed.
Couldn't agree more, Ed. I certainly don't remember having ever tasted a more tasty lamb kebab. Thanks DCI! Was a shame to have to come home, as I think we could've enjoyed the beers and chat for hours. Have a great week, ignore the grey clouds, and see you for more next weekend. Paul x
