Tanveer Ahmed and the Night Noodle Markets

This week we had the final event of the year in the series of Ethics Centre lectures, with Dr Tanveer Ahmed, a Bangladeshi-born Australian, former comedian, tv host, lawyer and currently pyschiatrist talking on the subject of 'Ethics and the all-seeing media" - an interesting, well pitched and thought provoking speech that focused on the role of journalism in the digital age.

It is once again the Night Noodle Markets in Sydney (I went last year too); last night Kit, Jen and I went to the markets at Hyde Park and met up with Sian, Michael and Antoinette and some of their friends for various combinations of dim-sum, dumplings, cashew/chilli/pad thai stir frys, curries, kofte, pancakes and baclava.
