Today was the last day of term and also the Valedictory Day for Year 12. After their farewell assembly, the whole school, including staff, formed a guard of honour from the hall up to the chapel which must have been a few hundred metres long; the boys walked along, shaking hands/hugging/crying their way, led by a huge flag (about 9 metres long).
House Competition day was yesterday, and the day before that was the inaugural Science and Technology Festival - featuring reptiles, a $500k Lamborghini and a Model T Ford, lie detector test making, and an interactive CSI game - all of which was excellent.
Tomorrow is a staff development day, and then Saturday I fly to Buenos Aires. Watch this space as I will be blogging, I hope, from South America in a few days time....
