It's the Aroma Festival at The Rocks today - which means coffee, coffee and more coffee. You can have a latte, flat white, skinny flat white, soy flat white, soy latte, chai latte or a soy chai latte... but as a purist I like to stick to a long black: coffee, hot water and nothing else.
I battled my way in to Circular Quay on the tourist-laden ferry and sampled some of the Black Stuff being peddled. The crowds were significant and there was only so much of the tourist horde and small children I could cope with. Still, the coffee was pretty good at 2 bucks a pop, if you didn't mind queuing - which I didn't as there were some great bands doing their thing around the waterside to provide some entertainment, and the lovely sunny weather has been a t-shirt and jeans affair.
