Brookesey (a very good friend from uni) arrives tomorrow morning - frustratingly I can't meet him at the airport as I have a departmental planning morning. He's staying here tomorrow night, and I've booked him on a flight to Melbourne on Tuesday where he is going to be staying with Angus, an Aussie friend of his who was also at Oxford when Brookesey was doing his PhD (I fly down there on Good Friday).

So it's going to be a crazy week or so....
Tuesday - Thursday: I'm in the National Park (Southern Highlands) - canoing, camping, hiking with Year 9 (15 year olds) - the boys went down there today, so hopefully they'll be worn out by the time I meet up with them.
Thursday night: Drinks in the "3 Weeds" - one of my favourite pubs, which is in neighbouring Rozelle
Friday: Fly to Melbourne
Saturday-Sunday: hiring a car to travel along the Great Ocean Road
Monday: Ballarat (in the Victorian Goldfields)
Tuesday: Fly back to Sydney

Just had a relaxing weekend - the weather has been fabulous, so I've been 'cruising' the cafes and chilling out with my book down by the water. I've seen off my cold too - I didn't fancy having that whilst camping in the back of beyond.

Oh, and the Tigers won, too. :)
