Friday night was our housewarming - Kit, Jen and I invited about 25 people, including the neighbours, for cocktails and food from 6pm till 10pm; it actually wound up at 2am, which, given I had to be at rugby at 8.15 was far from ideal.

With the warm sunny weather (it's warm in the sun but still chilly in the shade when it's windy) yesterday afternoon I went for a picnic in Nielsen Park, a harbour beach near Rose Bay in the Eastern Suburbs. Love those Morton Bay fig trees!
Last night Ludo and I went to a fundraising fancy dress party at the Harold Park Hotel in Glebe. It was organised by some of the staff at The King's School (although Kit didn't go). I know Allison (who is in between me and Ludo in the photo below) via Kit, who forwards all such invites to me and Ludo as well. Here are the publishable photos....
