I don't remember ever being this busy. I've been trying to get the reports for the 200 boys I currently teach in years 8-10 on the network, in between teaching lessons and coaching rugby, and organising moving house and all the issues that go with that, plus tomorrow's DipEd exam for which I have done zero preparation (unless you count opening the text book to read the contents page). Fortunately I don't think I can fail given my marks on my other assessments, but I'd rather try and do a reasonable job. To make it all a bit harder it's also really cold at night. I've had to start wearing socks in bed and two t-shirts. It drops to around 5 degrees, but the houses here are just not built to deal with cold - large single pane windows that are not properly sealed anyway, no central heating, wooden floors.... it's warmer out on the road. Still, the new house will be warmer as it has carpets and it's more modern.
Roll on Saturday night when it'll all be over. Hopefully.

  2. Are you seriously complaining about the cold?
